Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee daily operations for the Oxford facility
- →Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions
- →Develop operational plan and budget for the facility
- →Coordinate staffing levels to meet production needs
- →Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly employees
- →Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA
- →Oversee inventory accuracy and quality control
- →Utilize lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools
- →Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and Supply Chain
Requirements
- ✓Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- ✓Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- ✓Follow ergonomic and safe lifting techniques
- ✓Assist supervisors in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- ✓Promote and uphold The McWane Way principles
- ✓Assist HR with interviews, selection, and training of new employees
- ✓Ensure adherence to quality standards and collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams
- ✓Evaluate new technology and how it can be applied to enhance operations
- ✓Assist with planning of long-term capital projects and equipment upgrades
- ✓Review production schedules and ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment
- ✓Work with sales and planning to achieve on-time delivery metrics
