About the Role
We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join Mecka AI, a company building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. This role focuses on building internal systems, tools, and models that power our robotics data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain computer vision models for pre- and post-processing of visual data, data validation, and automated labeling assistance
- →Design and ship internal CV tools for visualizing images, video, and annotations, inspecting failure cases, and exploring datasets at scale
- →Create interactive interfaces to help ops, annotators, and researchers understand data issues and identify labeling errors
- →Work closely with robotics customers, data labeling and QA teams, and other CV and ML engineers
- →Prototype quickly and harden systems into production pipelines
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in computer vision (images + video; robotics experience a plus)
- ✓Intuitive grasp of linear algebra, including rigid body math, transformations, rotations, and Lie algebra
- ✓Experience building practical CV systems, not just training models
- ✓Proven track record of delivering high-quality code
- ✓Comfortable working with noisy, real-world data
- ✓Comfortable shipping internal tools and iterating with users
