About the Role
Metergy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This role involves financial reporting, liquidity management, business planning, valuations, and forecasting, working closely with the CFO and other business groups.
Key Responsibilities
- →Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis and actively participate in resolving technical accounting issues
- →Support month-end closing process including preparation and review of journal entries
- →Compile, analyze, and report on key business operating metrics and trends
- →Prepare cash forecasts and assist with liquidity management
- →Develop and implement financial controls
- →Assist in preparation of analyses and reports for senior management and the board of directors
- →Involvement in forecasting and business planning processes
- →Support annual valuation process and special projects
Requirements
- ✓Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA preferred)
- ✓Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in accounting with a strong performance track record
- ✓Advisory or corporate finance experience is an asset
- ✓Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- ✓Strong attention to detail with ability to deliver management-ready materials
- ✓Demonstrated leadership ability and team player
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Self-motivated with a focus on professional development
- ✓Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
