About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. This role involves working on a suite of federal government web applications, enhancing and adding features to improve functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work as part of an agile scrum team, participating in all agile ceremonies and completing user stories during two-week sprints
- →Collaborate with the scrum team to refine requirements, propose solutions to complex problems, and continuously improve the team's approach
Requirements
- ✓Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
- ✓3+ years' experience working as a software developer in a web-based application framework
- ✓Excellent writing and communications skills
- ✓Proven full stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby on Rails backend, as well as database management systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
- ✓Experience working as part of a collaborative agile scrum team
- ✓Experience building web applications on cloud-based infrastructure
- ✓Experience with Git based source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket
