About the Role
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and sustain mission-critical data center environments for the federal government. This role involves hands-on expertise to strengthen reliability, resilience, and support critical missions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage and operate servers, storage, networking, and power systems in mission-critical environments
- →Support high-availability operations by monitoring infrastructure health and troubleshooting complex issues
- →Design, implement, and improve data center infrastructure solutions
- →Participate in Agile execution and contribute with hands-on expertise
- →Identify risks and communicate mitigation strategies
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams for safe infrastructure changes
- →Apply best practices for security and operational excellence
- →Establish and maintain customer trust through technical excellence
Requirements
- ✓Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- ✓DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role
- ✓8+ years of experience with data center infrastructure
- ✓Experience with VMware or equivalent virtualization technologies
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- ✓Required certifications: VMware VCP-DCV or equivalent and Security+
