The Sr. IT Project Manager leading Agile teams will guide the planning, execution, and iterative delivery of technology projects to ensure continuous value. They will remove blockers, facilitate communication, and lead Agile ceremonies to keep crossβfunctional teams aligned and improving. They will partner with stakeholders to balance priorities, manage risks, and deliver solutions that meet evolving business and technical needs.

What youβll do:
β’ The Project Manager will provide statuses, taskings, schedules, performance, risks, and problem resolution.
β’ Accountable for day-to-day development team activities and deliverables.
β’ Manages and executes projects using Agile methodologies, including scrum, and leverages GitLab to facilitate tracking and organization.
β’ Expected to be fluent in all areas of a project's product and knowledgeable about all major initiatives, issues, and strategic goals.
β’ Serves as a liaison between Program Leadership and the Agile teams by relaying direction, escalating concerns, and collaborating on resolutions.
β’ Meets regularly with senior-level product owners and key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and productive engagement, and initiates feedback sessions.
β’ Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting empowerment, ensuring full engagement in tasks, and maintaining high-quality output at a sustainable pace.
β’ Identifies and proposes opportunities for operational and technical improvements, working with the technical leads and solution architects as necessary.
β’ Leads all aspects of Service Delivery for project(s), assuring all work products and deliverables are delivered by agreed-upon dates and at acceptable levels of quality, managing, monitoring, and reporting.
β’ Contribute to project Risk Management action items, including assessing, planning, and executing mitigation strategies as needed.
β’ Develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships.
β’ Prioritize, lead, and manage the tasking of Agile team(s) and the completion of assignments.
What youβll need to succeed:
β’ 10+ years of project management experience.
β’ 5+ years of Agile SDLC project management experience, including leading development of complex applications in cloud environments.
β’ Hands-on experience leading agile teams using Kanban, Scrum, or similar agile methodologies.
β’ Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and data-focused projects.
β’ Proficiency with Agile project management tools, particularly GitLab.
β’ Ability to track and manage agile team work, remove blockers, and support delivery.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building.
β’ Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
β’ Ability to understand business needs and maintain high customer trust and confidence.
β’ Ability to support teams in developing documentation and project artifacts.
β’ PMP certification.
β’ Additional certifications such as CompTIA, CISSP, Microsoft, or ITIL.
β’ Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
SALARY RANGE: $165,000 - $184,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
β’ The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
β’ The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
β’ Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
β’ This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
β’ Performance-based bonuses
β’ Company-paid training and/or certifications
β’ Referral bonuses
