About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer I (Salesforce) to join our team at MetroStar. This role involves building and supporting Salesforce solutions in a mission-driven, regulated environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop new features, maintain existing functionality, and grow your technical skills across the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative capabilities under guidance from senior team members.
- →Contribute to the design and implementation of Salesforce features that meet business and technical requirements.
- →Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware platforms.
- →Implement data models, security controls, and role-based access configurations as directed.
- →Follow established development standards, code quality practices, and CI/CD processes.
- →Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and user-reported problems across development and test environments.
- →Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- →Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and technical skills.
- →Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and support compliance efforts.
Requirements
- ✓Must have DoD Secret Clearance
- ✓Bachelors degree
- ✓5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- ✓Hands-on experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce declarative tools.
- ✓Understanding of Salesforce fundamentals including object relationships, security models, and the Lightning platform.
- ✓Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow established development standards.
