About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join Michels Canada, a nationally recognized general contractor in energy, infrastructure, and power construction. This role is integral to planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

→Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers
→Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion
→Develop detailed project plans encompassing scope, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
→Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements and goals
→Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams
→Monitor project performance and implement mitigation strategies
→Manage project budgets and cost-control measures
→Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers
→Oversee procurement activities, including bid analysis and contract negotiations
→Prepare and deliver project status updates to senior leadership
→Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution
→Champion continuous improvement initiatives
→Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance

Requirements

✓Post-secondary degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
✓Registered as P.Eng or P.L. Eng with PEO in Ontario or EGBC in British Columbia
✓Minimum of 8 years of construction and project management experience
✓Proven track record of managing construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million
✓Experience in rehabilitation of underground infrastructure using CIPP, SIPP, and Sliplining
✓Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
✓Proficient with Primavera, MS Project, and Blue Beam
✓Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
✓Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
✓Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
