Key Responsibilities
- →Expand Minted's portfolio of overseas suppliers while controlling and reducing organizational spend
- →Build and manage strategic relationships with overseas suppliers to support sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and cost goals
- →Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Business Development teams to develop, source, and manufacture products
- →Manage production and sourcing including materials knowledge, trade regulations, testing protocols, and shipping documentation
- →Negotiate with offshore partners to obtain competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards
- →Regularly communicate with overseas suppliers to audit quality, verify capabilities, and identify risks
- →Provide clear communication to manufacturers and cross-functional partners regarding production and shipping timelines
- →Occasionally move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
Requirements
- ✓8-10+ years of sourcing and product development experience for consumer goods, particularly in home decor, gifts, fabric, and stationery
- ✓6+ years of experience working with supply chain, accounting, and customer service in e-commerce or retail
- ✓Established network of trusted overseas manufacturers with in-region experience in Asia
- ✓Strong materials knowledge and passion for design in Minted's product categories
- ✓Exceptional detail orientation to ensure brand integrity and product quality
- ✓Strong project management skills with ability to work cross-functionally
- ✓Exceptional presentation and communication skills with ability to influence others
- ✓Analytical skills with ability to make decisions with imperfect data and proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
- ✓Strong English and Mandarin language skills, both written and verbal
- ✓4-year degree in a relevant field preferred
