About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team at Mintlify. This is a highly technical, player/coach leadership role at the core of Mintlify's product, focusing on scaling through rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead fullstack engineering team(s) building user-facing features
- →Collaborate with Design and Product teams on high-impact initiatives
- →Help define and evolve the architecture for our AI-powered application
- →Hire, grow, and retain exceptional engineers
- →Foster a culture of simplicity, quality, and continuous improvement
- →Contribute to code and architecture reviews
- →Work with cross-functional partners to align product initiatives
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in software engineering management
- ✓5+ years of experience as a full stack or backend product engineer
- ✓Track record of leading high-performing engineering teams
- ✓Strong product sense and ability to balance speed, quality, and user impact
- ✓Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React) and backend systems (Python, Node, Go)
