About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join the MSR4 product team at Mirantis. This role involves working on Mirantis Secure Registry (MSR) 4, an enterprise-grade container registry solution that integrates with Kubernetes to provide security controls for cloud-native development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, architect, implement, review, and test frameworks, libraries, tools, and services primarily using Go.
- →Participate in requirement, design, planning, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile software development team.
- →Contribute to successful sprints by implementing items that contribute to overall team goals.
- →Act as a subject matter expert and evangelist within the company and broader community.
- →Maintain Mirantis projects by managing contributions and patches to open-source projects, reviewing submissions, and participating in design decisions.
- →Participate in product discussions, influence the roadmap, and take ownership of new projects.
- →Provide technical reference to external partners and in-house engineering teams, offering support through knowledge sharing and development efforts.
- →Contribute to testing via automation and test plan reviews to ensure a quality product.
- →Ensure MSR remains a first-class and indispensable part of diverse customer solutions, working seamlessly with existing systems.
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Go programming language.
- ✓Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native development.
- ✓Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- ✓Strong understanding of open-source project management.
