About the Role
The Technical Support Engineer at Mirantis is responsible for solving complex technical issues within large-scale customer cloud environments. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, incident response, and problem management for OpenStack- and Kubernetes-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Troubleshoot private cloud deployments based on OpenStack, Kubernetes, Mirantis Container Runtime (MCR), and related cloud technologies
- →Provide high-tier support for critical product issues, leading high-severity incident calls and coordinating resolution efforts
- →Act as a shift-level technical leader, maintaining awareness of platform health and managing emerging issues
- →Perform cluster upgrades and lifecycle operations with minimal disruption
- →Communicate clearly with customers during incidents, providing accurate status updates and guidance
- →Own escalations end-to-end by routing issues to appropriate teams while maintaining accountability
- →Lead incident management efforts by structuring outage calls and driving corrective actions
- →Reproduce customer issues in lab environments and provide detailed diagnostics to development teams
- →Work with engineering teams to review issues, suggest improvements, and track fixes
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes platforms
- ✓Expertise in troubleshooting cloud technologies and infrastructure
- ✓Ability to lead incident calls and coordinate cross-functional resources
- ✓Excellent communication skills for customer interactions
- ✓Experience with container runtime and storage systems like Ceph
