About the Role
We are looking for a passionate backend developer to join our collaborative team at Mitek, a global leader in digital identity authentication and fraud prevention. This role involves building and maintaining backend systems to handle high-traffic workloads and implementing new features/products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready API solutions.
- →Write and execute unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure product quality.
- →Create and maintain internal and public API documentation.
- →Collaborate with various teams to determine requirements, implement, deploy, test, and support products.
- →Follow Agile/Scrum processes including daily stand-ups, refinements, planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- ✓5+ years of professional software development experience using modern frameworks and tools.
- ✓Proven experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS.
- ✓Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- ✓Hands-on experience with microservices or serverless architectures.
- ✓Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous delivery principles.
- ✓Experience building and deploying Dockerized applications.
- ✓Ability to drive the adoption of new tools and technologies across teams.
- ✓Experience building automated unit, integration, and performance tests for reliability at scale.
