About the Role
We are looking for an experienced e-learning developer to join Mitratech's team and accelerate the creation of award-winning Articulate Storyline training products. This role involves building custom learning interactions, extending Storyline outputs with JavaScript, and solving complex technical challenges related to LMS delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- βFulfill client-specific customizations of existing Articulate Storyline courses
- βBuild interactive Storyline courses in collaboration with instructional designers and subject-matter experts
- βDevelop advanced course functionality using custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- βCustomize Storyline player behavior, navigation, and accessibility features
- βDiagnose and resolve technical issues related to Storyline output and LMS interoperability
- βSupport localization workflows by importing translated assets and conducting QA passes
- βContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and document best practices
- βAssist in onboarding and mentoring contract developers
Requirements
- β3+ years of hands-on development experience with Articulate Storyline
- βExpertise packaging, publishing, and troubleshooting SCORM, xAPI, and cmi5 content
- βStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS, and JSON
- βExperience debugging Storyline content using browser developer tools
- βUnderstanding of usability, visual consistency, and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
- βHigh level of written and spoken U.S. English fluency
- βAbility to work autonomously from a remote location
- βExcellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
- βEducation
- βBachelorβs degree in instructional technology, computer science, multimedia development, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
