About the Role
We are searching for Java Developers to join our rapidly growing Hyderabad Center of Excellence at Mitratech. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and implementing products for a web-based enterprise application.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor application performance and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks
- →Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through code reviews and guidance
- →Maintain and improve Java applications by fixing bugs, implementing updates, and optimizing performance
- →Collaborate across teams with developers, testers, and stakeholders
- →Document software changes and keep clear records of modifications
- →Participate in code refactoring projects to improve codebase structure
- →Create and maintain unit and regression tests
- →Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards
- →Identify and address security vulnerabilities in Java applications
- →Communicate with clients regarding software issues
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience with Java development
- ✓BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- ✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Self-reliant and motivated self-starter
- ✓Ability to reason logically and provide innovative solutions
- ✓Advanced proficiency with Java, JavaScript, Web Services, RDBMS DDL & SQL, Hibernate or other ORM, Spring Framework, JUnit or other testing framework
- ✓Desired Skills & Experience
- ✓Software programming coursework
- ✓Successful completion of projects using programming languages, ideally Java
- ✓Understanding of relational databases and SQL, Java, or JavaScript
- ✓Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
- ✓Experience using the Eclipse IDE or other similar developer environments
