Key Responsibilities
- →Interface directly with customers to define System Security Engineering (SSE) requirements, solutions, trade studies, cost impacts, implementation strategies, and system effectiveness
- →Develop security plans, cost estimates, execution strategies, schedules, and risk identification and mitigation plans
- →Ensure system compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls and DoD cybersecurity requirements
- →Consult and support program management on SSE architecture, design decisions, and security issues
- →Support proposal and bid development as a cybersecurity and information assurance subject matter expert
- →Define and support the implementation and testing of security controls for networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components
- →Integrate cybersecurity development activities across system lifecycles
- →Develop top-level system security requirements and flow requirements to subsystems
- →Ensure understanding of and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- ✓8+ years of relevant professional experience
- ✓Active and transferable U.S. Secret security clearance required prior to start date
- ✓U.S. citizenship required (security clearance eligibility)
- ✓Experience in System Security Engineering and/or Cybersecurity Engineering
- ✓Hands-on experience implementing NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
