About the Role
Monarch is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team during a period of hyper-growth. This role involves owning day-to-day IT support for Monarch teammates while improving systems, documentation, automations, and access workflows to keep the company moving quickly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own IT support operations as the initial point of contact for hardware, software, and access requests across our fully distributed team
- →Build scalable automations and AI workflows using tools like Okta Workflows, n8n, OpenAI, and Claude
- →Administer core SaaS tools and access management across Monarch's software stack
- →Support and strengthen our security posture by implementing IT security best practices
- →Manage device lifecycle and MDM, overseeing procurement, configuration, deployment, and off-boarding of employee devices
- →Identify opportunities to scale and improve IT processes
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of hands-on IT Support, Engineering, and/or Systems Administration experience
- ✓Experience supporting and administering MacOS devices, common SaaS tools, and employee endpoints in a cloud-first environment
- ✓Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance Administration (IGA) concepts
- ✓Demonstrated ability to develop complex automations using Okta Workflows, n8n, or similar iPaaS/automation tools
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication, strong customer service instincts, and the ability to manage multiple requests with clear prioritization
- ✓Comfort operating in a security-conscious environment
- ✓A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset
- ✓Experience within a high-growth B2C or SaaS startup environment
