About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data team at Monarch, a personal finance platform. This role will support data aggregation systems and pipelines that connect to users' financial accounts, while also partnering with business teams on analytics and data modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build new datasets and pipelines while improving existing data infrastructure
- →Run end-to-end analytics projects from data ingestion to dashboard creation
- →Partner with product managers and engineering managers to define and develop KPIs
- →Provide data insights to inform business decisions and share results with leadership
- →Analyze user behavior to understand product usage and predict cohort health
- →Enable self-service analytics by training users and building data models
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years in analytics engineering or data analysis roles
- ✓Expert level SQL with advanced features like window functions
- ✓Extensive experience with DBT for data modeling and optimization
- ✓Experience with business intelligence tools (Omni) for reports and dashboards
- ✓Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude) for user behavior analysis
- ✓Ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners
- ✓Comfortable with ambiguity and can make recommendations on problem-solving approaches
