About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to support the sales and delivery of modernization engagements at MongoDB. This role will focus on helping customers modernize their legacy applications to MongoDB using our Application Modernization Platform (AMP).
Key Responsibilities
- →Facilitate technical workshops and discovery sessions with customer architects, developers, and business leaders
- →Experience installing and delivering complex demonstrations consisting of multiple applications deployed on Docker and Github Codespaces
- →Strategize with sales teams and provide recommendations on how to drive a multi-threaded account strategy
- →Travel up to 25% to customer sites in North America or Europe
Requirements
- ✓8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer facing role, with 5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software
- ✓Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
- ✓Experience with modern software development processes and application architectures
- ✓Experience designing with scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
- ✓Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- ✓A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
