About the Role
We are seeking a Business Operations & Strategy Analyst to join MongoDB and help drive strategic and operational initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, finance, and product management, working closely with internal stakeholders to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives to identify and execute against opportunities to improve our business
- →Partner with Product and go-to-market teams to develop and implement coherent strategies and business plans
- →Apply strategy and operations experience to uncover operational issues and drive process improvements
- →Conduct ad-hoc analysis in support of cross-functional stakeholders and executive management
- →Embed yourself with other teams to understand business needs and inform analysis
- →Effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences
Requirements
- ✓BA/BS in a quantitative field
- ✓2-5 years of experience in business strategy and operations
- ✓Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions
- ✓Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights
- ✓Advanced Excel and Google Slides or PowerPoint skills
- ✓Confidence using SQL for data manipulation; experience with Python or R is a plus
- ✓Ability to move quickly and iterate on analyses
- ✓Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-guided manner
