About the Role
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our team at MongoDB. This role involves guiding customers and partners to design and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. You will work closely with field partner leaders and play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement scalable systems using MongoDB
- →Work with advisory consulting partners on reference architectures and AI blueprints
- →Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions and bridge this to technical value
- →Partner with account teams to ensure success in accounts ranging from startups to large enterprises
- →Support sales with technical discovery, demos, proof of value, and documentation
- →Translate technical concepts into business benefits for management and executives
- →Gather feedback from the field and relay it back to the Product Management team
- →Drive demand through participation in industry trade-shows and account-based marketing events
- →Mentor other pre-sales team members and share best practices
- →Build and maintain effective relationships with technical partners
- →Demonstrate technical expertise through mentorship of local partner organizations
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of total experience with 3+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software
- ✓Working knowledge and ability to code with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#)
- ✓Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
- ✓2+ years of software development experience
- ✓Excellent presentation and communication skills
- ✓The ability to travel up to 50%
- ✓A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- ✓Proficiency in one of the languages used by our customers in our Asian markets: Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, or Malay is highly advantageous.
