About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join Moniepoint, an all-in-one financial services platform for emerging markets. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage our multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud operations across multiple cloud providers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI
- →Architect and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions
- →Manage cloud resources including compute instances and networking components
- →Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- →Migrate on-premises applications to cloud environments
- →Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement auto-scaling policies
- →Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
- ✓Deep expertise in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI)
- ✓Expert-level Kubernetes knowledge and hands-on experience with container orchestration
- ✓Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
- ✓Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD)
- ✓Knowledge of Apache Kafka for message streaming and event-driven architectures
- ✓Understanding of database and proxy technologies like ProxySQL
- ✓Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Go
- ✓Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- ✓Familiarity with secrets management using HashiCorp Vault
