The Opportunity
.Monks is looking for an Account Executive to join our Automotive team. We want more than a task manager—we’re after a future leader who’s eager to make a real impact in one of the most dynamic, challenging industries out there.
This is a role for someone who wants a career, not just a job. You bring the skills to handle high-volume accounts and the drive to master where creativity, technology, and automotive meet. At .Monks, we move fast—and we’re looking for an AE who’s excited to grow, learn, and help shape what comes next.
The Day-to-Day
• Account Stewardship: Serve as the primary daily point of contact for automotive clients. You are the “face” of the agency—building trust through impeccable execution, proactive problem-solving, and a consultative approach to every relationship. You anticipate client needs, deepen long-term partnerships, and advocate for their business as if it’s your own.
• Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle. From kick-off to delivery, you ensure every social asset, digital banner, and video deliverable is on-brand, on-time, and on-budget.
• Automotive Specialization: Develop a deep understanding of the automotive landscape, including Tier 1 brand strategy, Tier 2 retail cycles, and the technical nuances of model-year launches and compliance.
• Strategic Briefing: Partner with strategy and creative teams to translate client business needs into sharp, actionable creative briefs. You don’t just relay information—you add value to it.
• Financial Management: Take ownership of project scopes and billing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across our global network of "Monks" to orchestrate complex productions, ensuring a seamless experience for the client despite the scale of the work.
The Profile
• Growth-Oriented: You have 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced agency or high-volume environment. You have a proven track record of exceeding expectations and driving measurable results.
• Learning Agility: You’re a quick study—able to pick up new product knowledge, client verticals, and emerging tech at speed.
• Obsessive Detail: The details are non-negotiable. You have a "zero-error" mentality when it comes to legal disclaimers, trim specs, and brand guidelines.
• Owner Mentality: You don't wait for instructions. You identify gaps, find solutions, and take pride in "owning" your workstreams from start to finish.
• Tech-Curious: You are an early adopter of new tools and platforms. You are excited by the way AI and data are evolving the creative process and want to be at the forefront of that shift.
• Resilient & Adaptable: You thrive in high-pressure environments. You can pivot quickly when client priorities shift and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in Account Management or Project Management (Agency experience strongly preferred).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; you can distill complex info into clear, compelling narratives.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs).
• Experience with project management software (Asana, Monday.com, or similar) is a plus.
