About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Monks. This role involves building impactful features across the stack with modern tools and a collaborative team. You'll report to an Engineering Manager and work on high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- βOwn end-to-end feature deliveryβfrom UI/UX to API and database design
- βBuild and maintain scalable React interfaces
- βArchitect and implement APIs using NestJS and Postgres
- βManage integrations with external services using internal credential/token management systems
- βDesign and implement secure OAuth 2.0 flows and SSO (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
- βContribute to and maintain our Docker/Kubernetes/Helm-based infrastructure
- βCollaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across the organization
- βWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack
Requirements
- β5+ years of full stack development experience
- βStrong proficiency with TypeScript, React, NestJS, and Postgres
- βComfortable shipping across the entire stackβUI to DB
- βExperience with monorepo tooling (pnpm, turborepo, nx)
- βSolid understanding of API authentication, credential management, and secure integrations with third-party services
- βIn-depth knowledge of OAuth 2.0, including implementation of valid auth flows and SSO
- βExperience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm in production environments
- βFamiliarity with domain-driven design or clean architecture patterns
