About the Role

We are looking for an English-Myanmar Translator to support media and content projects. This role involves translating written content and performing oral interpretation for various media-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• →Translate written content such as books, literature, news articles, and advertising copy accurately
• →Produce translations that are clear, concise, grammatically correct, and use simple, natural language
• →Perform oral interpretation for meetings, live broadcasts, and events
• →Review translated content to ensure it aligns with local language usage, cultural context, and appropriateness
• →Clarify requirements with Project Managers and Clients, and work closely with Editors to polish translations
• →Research and learn technical terminology, maintain terminology lists, and ensure consistent usage
• →Maintain professional confidentiality of all translated content
