QA Tester at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP)

Role : Mobile Application Developer (MyFWP App Enhancements & XMT App Development Location : 1625 11th Ave, Helena, Montana- (Onsite)   Candidate must have: 7–10 Strong experience in mobile application development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) Experience with analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of mobile app features Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrations (MyFWP uses APIs to connect to the Automated Licensing System – ALS) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including participation in: Daily standups Sprint planning Sprint reviews Sprint retrospectives Ability to work with GitLab for ticket management and code commits Ability to produce fully tested, buildable, deployable code at the end of every sprint Strong documentation skills for: Code changes Technical details Sprint deliverables Ability to collaborate with FWP's: Business analysts QA testers DevOps/System Architect Project Manager Ability to work onsite in Helena, MT one day per week (Wednesday) Strong communication and ability to participate in Agile ceremonies Experience delivering queries, reports, UI components, and database changes   Preferred Qualifications (recommended but not explicitly required) Experience working with state government agencies Experience in wildlife, natural resources, licensing, or outdoor recreation systems Experience developing or enhancing apps similar to MyFWP (licenses, validations, digital tags)
