About the Role
MORSE Corp is seeking talented Cloud Software Engineers to join their innovative team, supporting critical AI, machine learning, simulation, situational awareness, and mission planning capabilities for Department of Defense customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Python
- →Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure
- →Oversee the deployment of cloud services and compliance to security guidelines
- →Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming
- →Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
- →Contribute to the development of new codebases emphasizing object-orientation, modularity, and maintainability
Requirements
- ✓US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI)
- ✓Expertise in Python
- ✓1+ years of experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- ✓Experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation
- ✓Strong understanding of relational databases and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- ✓Experience with Docker, Docker-compose, or Kubernetes
- ✓Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and microservice architecture
- ✓Strong communication skills and self-motivation
- ✓Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓3+ years of software development experience
