About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially-minded, and results-driven Head of Performance Marketing to join our Growth team at Motorway, the UK's fastest-growing used car marketplace. This critical role directly impacts the company's P&L and requires strategic ownership of paid and organic acquisition channels with a substantial media budget.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define strategy for core performance channels including Paid & Organic Search, Paid Social, Display, and App Campaigns
- →Translate complex channel data into clear, actionable financial insights for executive-level decision making
- →Lead continuous testing and optimisation across creative, bidding, and landing page experience
- →Own and manage the annual performance marketing budget effectively
- →Evolve the performance marketing measurement framework and conduct incrementality testing
- →Lead, mentor, and coach the Performance Marketing team
- →Work as a strategic peer with other Heads of Marketing functions
- →Oversee and manage external agency relationships
Requirements
- ✓Senior leadership experience in Performance Marketing, preferably in a high-growth B2C/e-commerce environment
- ✓Proven expertise managing multi-million dollar annual budgets
- ✓Deep technical understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, and SEO/ASO principles
- ✓Ability to strategically unify disparate channels for improved efficiency
- ✓Exceptional commercial, analytical, and modeling skills
- ✓Expertise in advanced marketing measurement including incrementality testing
- ✓Outstanding ability to translate technical metrics into business decisions
- ✓Strong track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams
- ✓Highly competent in leveraging marketing analytics platforms
- ✓Experience with financial models to prove marketing investment returns
