About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as an Associate Project Manager Apprentice. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to develop essential project management skills while working towards a nationally recognized qualification equivalent to a Higher National Certificate (HNC).

Key Responsibilities

• →Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects
• →Support the development of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
• →Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time
• →Monitor project progress and update project documentation
• →Assist with risk identification and issue management
• →Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations
• →Coordinate project meetings and document minutes and actions
• →Communicate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and updates
• →Maintain stakeholder registers and manage stakeholder expectations
• →Maintain project documentation, filing systems, and shared drives
• →Update project management tools and software (MS Project, Trello, Jira, etc.)
• →Track project budgets, timelines, and resource usage
• →Prepare project reports, dashboards, and presentations
• →Organize and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and events
• →Assist in developing work breakdown structures (WBS)
• →Create and maintain project schedules using Gantt charts
• →Support resource planning and allocation activities
• →Monitor project milestones and deliverables
• →Identify dependencies and critical path activities
• →Support quality assurance processes and documentation
• →Identify and assess project risks and issues
• →Maintain risk and issue registers
• →Assist with budget tracking and forecasting
• →Process purchase orders and invoices
• →Monitor project expenditure against budget
• →Support financial reporting and variance analysis
