Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.
We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming todayβs workforce.
Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills theyβve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.
In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UKβs first EdTech unicorn.
But we arenβt stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. Weβre building a world where tech skills unlock peopleβs potential and output.
Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Having built a thriving upskilling apprenticeship business we are now accelerating on our AI strategy with the launch of a ground breaking AI Adoption Platform. This new venture operates as a βstart upβ within the business, leveraging Multiverse's established customer base, intellectual property, and experienced team. Our MVP has already demonstrated 7x adoption results in initial pilots by delivering personalised, role- and tool-specific AI use cases and upskilling at scale, enhanced by social features and measurable ROI. We are building a dedicated team to rapidly develop and scale this platform, and we're looking for pioneering individuals to drive its market success from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to:
- Develop a category-defining product with proven initial traction into a greenfield UK market
- Solve a massive enterprise pain point that affects every major global company
- Build something from scratch while leveraging proven playbooks and IP
- Shape the future of work in the AI era.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an intrapreneurial design lead for our new commercial AI Adoption product. This is a "zero-to-one" role as the sole designer for this product. Youβll be turning complex, ambiguous ideas into tangible, clickable prototypes that guide our product direction. Youβll also define the end-to-end user experience, influence strategic decisions, and help us articulate the product's value to the market.
WHAT YOUβLL DO:
- Perform user research to identify insights, pain points, and problems to solve for users
- Own the design vision for the Adoption product
- Rapidly prototype high-fidelity concepts to test and communicate direction
- Lead concept sprints and align stakeholders through storytelling
- Design and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-quality visuals for AI-enabled features
- Identify opportunities for AI to improve adoption and engagement
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across the product
- Balance speed with craft - moving fast without sacrificing usability
WHAT YOUβLL BRING:
- A deep background in UX and UI for software (experience with AI or ML-driven products is a plus).
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Framer, or Webflow to bring ideas to life quickly.
- The ability to translate ambiguous goals into clear, testable design hypotheses.
- An interest in how AI works to help inspire and inform new user experiences.
- A talent for storytelling and a proven track record of influencing product strategy through design.
THIS ROLE MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF:
- You enjoy the autonomy and ambiguity of early-stage product development.
- You are energised by the "build and learn" cycle and high-frequency iteration.
- You enjoy inspiring others through visual storytelling and tangible prototypes.
We value what you bring. At Multiverse, we are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the world we live in. We are actively working to improve diversity within our technical departments.
Not a "perfect" match? Apply anyway. Research shows that many talented candidates only apply if they meet 100% of the criteria. We donβt want you to miss out. If you are passionate about this role and have a solid foundation, please submit your application. We hire for potential, mindset, and the value you bring, even if you donβt check every single "Bonus" box.
