You’ll Join A Team That:
- Has successfully built, scaled, and sold companies in the past.
- Built software infrastructure processing billions of dollars in transactions.
- Is backed by world-class VCs and operating partners who’ve invested in, and built, iconic companies.
- Is building at the intersection of public sector data, AI, workflow automation, and go-to-market intelligence.
- Believes product is not just a function, it is the clearest expression of company strategy.
- Moves extremely fast, values sharp thinking, and expects every person to materially shape the trajectory of the company.
About The Role:
- Own product strategy and product leadership in our rapidly growing startup.
- We are looking for an exceptional product leader with strong opinions about building world-class products, deep customer intuition, and the ability to turn complex data and workflows into elegant, opinionated software.
- You will work directly with the founders to define the next chapter of NationGraph’s product: who we build for, what workflows we win, how our product differentiates, and how we translate our data advantage into a product customers cannot live without.
- This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role. You will shape product direction, partner closely with engineering and design, work with sales and customer-facing teams, and help build the operating system for how product decisions get made.
- You will be critical in turning a large, complex market opportunity into a focused, high-velocity product organization.
- Build on the cutting edge of AI, data infrastructure, and public sector intelligence.
- Accelerate your learning curve. Solve complex, uncharted problems with a high-caliber team.
- Every decision you make materially changes the trajectory of the company.
- Work with a team that deeply values product elegance, user experience, speed, and design-driven thinking.
- You will regularly partner with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and marketing on end-to-end product narratives.
What You’ll Do
- Own the company-wide product strategy, roadmap, and product narrative.
- Define the core user, workflows, and product surfaces that NationGraph should be optimized around.
- Translate a broad market opportunity into clear product priorities and sequencing.
- Partner with the founders to make high-conviction decisions about what we build — and what we do not build.
- Turn customer conversations, sales learnings, market signals, and product usage into a clear product direction.
- Work closely with engineering to translate product strategy into crisp execution plans.
- Create strong product operating cadences across discovery, prioritization, shipping, feedback, and iteration.
- Develop the frameworks we use to evaluate product bets, roadmap tradeoffs, customer requests, and long-term platform investments.
- Partner with sales and customer-facing teams to ensure the product directly supports acquisition, retention, expansion, and customer love.
- Help define how AI, data, automation, and workflow should come together in the product experience.
- Raise the bar for product quality, simplicity, usability, and taste.
- Build, mentor, and eventually scale a high-performing product organization.
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years of product leadership experience, including experience leading product at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience owning product strategy for a complex B2B software product.
- Strong product taste. You have clear opinions about what makes products simple, elegant, useful, and differentiated.
- Experience building or scaling data-intensive, workflow-heavy, AI-enabled, or GTM-oriented products.
- Ability to operate across altitude: company strategy, product vision, roadmap, user workflows, UX details, and execution tradeoffs.
- Strong customer intuition. You can quickly understand users, identify pain, and translate ambiguity into product direction.
- Exceptional prioritization judgment. You know how to sequence work, say no, and create focus.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive teams.
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication skills. You can write, present, and explain product strategy clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Track record of hiring, mentoring, and raising the bar for product managers or product-oriented teams.

- Experience building products with usage-based, credit-based, or data/API-based pricing models.
- Experience selling or building into regulated industries, enterprise, or complex B2B markets.
- Experience partnering closely with technical teams on data infrastructure, product architecture, APIs, integrations, or large-scale data systems.

Our Interview Process
We run a focused, high-signal process designed to be fast, thoughtful, and respectful of your time. Our goal is mutual clarity — not unnecessary hoops.
Round 1: Intro Conversation
A short conversation to get to know each other.
We’ll talk about your background, motivations, and what you’re looking for. You’ll learn more about us, the role, and how we work.
Goal: Mutual fit and alignment on culture and values.
Round 2: Product Leadership Deep Dive
A working session where we explore your product judgment, leadership experience, and how you approach ambiguous product problems.
We’ll discuss products you’ve built, tradeoffs you’ve made, teams you’ve led, and how you think about product-market fit.
Goal: Understand your depth, judgment, and product leadership style.
Round 3: Product Strategy Case
A practical, real-world exercise that reflects the kind of work you’d do here.
You may be asked to evaluate a market opportunity, define a product direction, critique a workflow, or reason through roadmap tradeoffs.
Goal: See how you think, communicate, prioritize, and create clarity.
Round 4: Final Round
You’ll spend time with our founders and dive deeper into how we’d work together.
Goal: Final mutual evaluation and, if there’s strong alignment, an offer.
Our Principles
Speed: We aim to move from round to offer quickly. We appreciate your time.
Respect: Every round has a clear purpose. No redundant interviews.
Signal over ceremony: We care more about what you’ve built and how you think than where you went to school.
Mutual evaluation: This is a two-way process. You’re interviewing us, too.
Bar-raising: Every hire should make the team stronger. When in doubt, we pass.
In-Person Work
We believe in-person work is our default.
We’re building a team of people who desire to work side-by-side and shape the culture of a growing company. In our experience, some of the best ideas come from being in the room, feeling the pain, hearing the nuance, and catching the details that are easy to miss.
At the same time, we’re flexible and supportive when working from home is needed to maintain a healthy, balanced work environment.
