About the Role
NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 in San Diego are seeking a driven and resourceful Sales Account Executive to generate revenue and cultivate relationships for our multi-platform properties. This role combines strategic business development, creative problem-solving, and consultative selling to address client needs across both linear, OTT, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- βMeet and exceed revenue goals by effectively selling the NBC/Telemundo duopoly, Peacock/OTT, digital solutions, and special event sponsorships.
- βDrive new business while maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients, including top agency and C-suite stakeholders.
- βLeverage a consultative approach by understanding each clientβs marketing objectives and developing customized proposals.
- βCollaborate with internal teams to craft relevant, high-impact campaigns and deliver measurable results.
- βProactively prospect through cold calls, networking, and outreach, while maintaining accurate documentation in tools like Salesforce.
- βEntertain and engage clients to nurture lasting partnerships, which may include attendance at non-business hour events.
- βStay informed about market trends, competitive landscapes, and research data to refine sales strategies and proposals.
Requirements
