About the Role
We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our team. This role involves leading support of the Linux environment and managing various systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead support of the Linux environment including security updates, package repository management, and hardware lifecycle management
- →Create process documentation for the team based on industry standards
- →Deliver training and mentorship to junior team members
- →Manage name services (Red Hat IDM) and interface with Active Directory and HR services
- →Manage virtualization and cloud efforts using various technologies
- →Design, update, and maintain systems for provisioning and updating operating systems
- →Drive enhancements and bug fixes for large-scale automation projects
- →Participate in escalations and Root Cause Analysis
- →Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
- →Manage work queue with clear documentation
- →Communicate clearly and efficiently as needed
- →Implement off-hours maintenance tasks
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Linux environment and security updates
- ✓Knowledge of package repository management
- ✓Familiarity with Red Hat IDM and Active Directory
- ✓Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies
- ✓Understanding of automation projects and tools
- ✓Ability to participate in on-call rotation
