About the Role
The Production Designer leads a multi-disciplined design team in developing, documenting, and executing creative intent for ride and show elements. This role oversees virtual and physical models, drawings, and drawing packages for all scenic components.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a multi-disciplined design team in developing, documenting, and executing creative intent
- →Develop virtual and physical models, drawings, and drawing packages for show and scenic components
- →Create technical and creative solutions to meet design criteria like guest experience and show timing
- →Ensure project creative vision is accurately integrated and documented
- →Coordinate with all project personnel, departments, and disciplines
- →Develop show set drawings, 3D models, animations, and animatics
- →Utilize various modeling, drafting, and drawing techniques and tools
- →Design constructible projects to meet program, creative intent, schedule, and budget requirements
- →Manage complex schedules and coordinate meetings with internal and external parties
Requirements
- ✓Project design and installation experience
- ✓Ability to lead a multi-disciplined design team
- ✓Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Maya, Adobe Graphics software, and 3D software
- ✓Strong understanding of building codes and design criteria
- ✓Experience with virtual and physical modeling
- ✓Ability to develop creative design, color boards, sketching, drafting, and models
- ✓Experience with cost, schedule, technical, and integration discussions
- ✓Ability to mentor and provide guidance to staff
- ✓Strong communication and team relationship skills
