About the Role
The Financial Analyst will support financial reporting for both scripted and non-scripted productions, ensuring adherence to NBC policies. This role involves maintaining oversight of production budgets and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Prepare production budgets and identify key financial risks and assumptions
- →Prepare production forecasts and dashboards for production leadership and finance executives
- →Track and analyze actual spend versus approved budgets
- →Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend solutions to prevent budget overages
- →Support monthly and quarterly close processes, cash pacing and production cost reporting
- →Prepare monthly Programming Liability and Production Entertainment trackers for Content Programming team
- →Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, as required
- →Review and process payments in accordance with contractual terms
- →Process third-party billings in accordance with contractual terms and agreements
- →Ensure compliance with corporate policies, workflows, documentation standards, and ad-hoc reporting requirements
- →Partner with various departments to support operational needs
- →Provide ad hoc analysis, as needed
Requirements
