About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java EE System Administrator to join our team. This role involves supporting critical production and non-production environments across both operational and project work.

Key Responsibilities

→Install, upgrade, configure, and manage J2EE application servers including WebSphere, WebLogic, and Tomcat, as well as SUSE and Red Hat Linux operating systems.
→Support the release, deployment, and lifecycle management of Java EE applications across development, test, and production environments.
→Ensure systems meet agreed service levels, maintain data integrity, and follow best-practice operational standards.
→Monitor, review, and optimise system performance to maintain stability and reliability.
→Provide technical expertise to ensure correct application of operational procedures.
→Communicate clearly with specialists, users, and managers, providing accurate and timely information.
→Perform additional duties as required to support the overall health and performance of the environment.
