About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Engineer to join our growing security team at Neko Health. This position will focus on securing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring robust controls across Azure environments in a regulated healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- →Harden and secure Azure resources including VMs, storage, and databases
- →Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel for threat detection
- →Develop and enforce policy-as-code for cloud deployments using Terraform and ARM templates
- →Conduct architecture reviews and threat modelling for cloud services
- →Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into infrastructure-as-code
- →Support incident response for cloud-related events and produce audit-ready evidence
Requirements
- ✓Hands-on experience with Azure security services including Defender for Cloud and Sentinel
- ✓Strong understanding of IAM, least privilege, and identity protection in cloud environments
- ✓Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and HIPAA
- ✓Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and ARM
- ✓Experience with SIEM/SOAR integration and cloud monitoring
