About the Role
We are looking for a software engineer to join the Neo4j Sharding Engineering Team. This role involves working on Infinigraph and Composite products within Neo4j, focusing on distributed query execution and database sharding for large data volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Designing and implementing features in different parts of the database stack, from the Cypher language implementation down to cluster networking
- →Tracking down and fixing both easy and tough bugs, and fixing downstream test failures
- →Documenting features and participating in cross-team design meetings
- →Studying the latest in database research and experimenting with new capabilities
Requirements
- ✓Experience developing production level software
- ✓Knowledge of Java, Scala or similar languages
- ✓Ability to work independently within a flexible software development organization
- ✓Ability to communicate about, and collaborate on, complex topics
