Neo Financial is seeking a Senior AI Developer to join their team in Calgary. This role focuses on leveraging AI to build financial products and mentor other developers in AI integration.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write and ship impactful code using AI coding assistants to increase velocity and code quality
- →Design and implement internal AI agents using Claude and other LLMs to automate complex workflows
- →Contribute to DevOps improvements that enable the team to integrate AI into code review, requirements, deployments, and QA
- →Mentor other developers on prompt engineering and AI integration into their daily SDLC
- →Perform high-stakes code reviews, identifying where AI-generated code requires human oversight
- →Advocate for and implement rigorous testing to ensure AI-driven outputs meet financial security standards
Requirements
- ✓Deep understanding of using LLMs to accelerate development and experience building applications with AI APIs
- ✓Mastery of back-end development and building complex business logic into full-stack web projects
- ✓Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) and various data stores
- ✓Strong grasp of programming principles and ability to optimize performance in distributed environments
- ✓Experience working on large-scale projects spanning multiple teams
- ✓6+ years of professional work experience
