About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Mobile Engineer to join Neo Financial in Calgary. This senior role requires deep technical expertise and architectural leadership across our complex, multi-platform ecosystem, including native iOS, native Android, and React Native applications.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and maintain the cross-platform mobile architecture for iOS, Android, and React Native
- →Provide technical leadership in complex mobile domains and mentor junior engineers
- →Lead optimization efforts for exceptional app performance and startup times
- →Design and implement reusable features using Swift, Kotlin, and TypeScript
- →Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and app release lifecycle
- →Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams on technical execution plans
- →Elevate code quality through rigorous code reviews and testing strategies
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience in architecting and scaling high-traffic mobile applications
- ✓Proven track record in technical leadership or mentorship roles
- ✓Expert-level proficiency in iOS, Android, or React Native development
- ✓Advanced proficiency with GraphQL and mobile security best practices
- ✓Mastery of CI/CD tools and app release lifecycle for App Store and Google Play Store
- ✓Architectural thinking ability to design scalable, maintainable systems
- ✓Results-driven ownership of complex problems in a fast-paced environment
