About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Netcompany. This role focuses on driving and developing our network in datacenter and enterprise/campus environments.
Key Responsibilities
- βManage, troubleshoot, extend and design networks in datacenter and/or enterprise/campus environments.
- βOptimize security with segmentation, PBR policies, access control, SIEM and IPS.
- βOperate Fortigate firewalls, Cisco ASR routers, ACI switch core and related technologies in datacenter.
- βImplement automation/DevOps and scripting with Python, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, templates, pipelines and code review.
- βCollaborate closely with specialists in server, storage and security β with opportunity to set technical direction.
Requirements
- βBe a driven, responsible individual who delivers results.
- βThink through solutions, document processes, build standards and elevate the team.
- βManage and work methodically.
- βHold a diploma engineering, bachelor or master's degree β or have a similar qualification level in IT.
- βHave at least a couple of years of experience from a similar position.
- βHave basic knowledge of scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
- βHave experience with firewalls and network security (Fortinet or Cisco).
- βHave solid hands-on experience with enterprise routing/switching as well as LAN/WAN.
- βBe able to obtain and maintain PET security clearance.
