About the role
Weβre looking for an Engineering Manager to lead engineering across Netwealthβs web digital channel. This role will guide teams working across Web Foundations, Web Portal, and the broader Public Brand experience, helping shape how we build consistent, high-quality digital experiences for customers and internal product teams alike.
Youβll lead engineers across Melbourne and Vietnam, with responsibility spanning shared web foundations, portal capabilities, and the evolution of our public web presence. This is a role for a strong people leader who is equally comfortable improving delivery today and shaping the future of our web platform and customer experience.
What youβll do
- Lead and support engineering teams across Netwealthβs web digital channel, with clear accountability for people leadership, delivery, and engineering quality.
- Uplift the quality, consistency, and scalability of the web experiences and shared capabilities that power our digital channel.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver seamless, intuitive journeys across portal and public web experiences.
- Strengthen the shared foundations used by product teams, including design system capability, reusable components, and web platform standards.
- Provide leadership across key web platform capabilities such as host experience, navigation, session, branding, and personalisation services.
- Set strong engineering standards, drive operational excellence, and build a healthy, accountable engineering culture.
- Help shape the next phase of Netwealthβs web channel architecture, team boundaries, and delivery model.
About you
- Youβre an empathetic, credible engineering leader with experience in digital experience, frontend, platform, or web product engineering.
- You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and know how to lead distributed teams with clarity and intent. You bring a product-minded, strategic approach, strong technical judgment, and a passion for building polished, reliable customer experiences.
- Youβre comfortable working with technologies such as Angular, Web Components, .NET/C#, and Azure. Experience with design systems, shared platforms, CMS or public website platforms, personalisation, or digital channel modernisation will be highly regarded.
