The opportunity
At Netwealth, we’re transforming the way client onboarding is delivered, balancing exceptional customer experience with strong regulatory outcomes.
We’re seeking an experienced Manager to build, lead and uplift our client onboarding capability as we continue to grow.
This is a hands‑on leadership role with genuine scope to shape team structure, processes and future service design.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Onboarding, you will lead the end-to-end client onboarding function across the platform.
In this crucial role, you will help build a scalable, compliant, and high-performing team, stay current with the evolving AML/KYC landscape, and gain exposure to executives, roadmap planning, and career progression opportunities.
You will have significant influence over the team’s structure, capabilities, and ways of working, giving you real agency to define what “great” looks like for the onboarding team.
This role offers meaningful impact, providing you with the opportunity to help shape how the onboarding function operates, now and in the future.
Must have experience
- Financial services experience, ideally within onboarding, operations or client lifecycle roles
- In‑depth, hands‑on knowledge of AML/KYC processes, including CDD, and have the ability to stay ahead of constantly evolving requirements
- Strong understanding of complex trust and entity structures
- Proven people leadership experience, managing teams of approximately 5–15 people
- Experience across platform, investments, superannuation and wrap products
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Technology and Sales teams
- Success in balancing regulatory rigour with client experience and onboarding speed
- Designing scalable processes in a dynamic growth and regulatory environment
Nice to have experience
- Leading or contributing to uplift or transformation initiatives
- Exposure to automation, workflow redesign or operating model change
