The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead several established scrum teams and help them do their best work. This role is about people leadership, clarity, and creating the conditions for teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable software.
You’ll guide technical direction, support architectural decisions, and work closely with technology leadership to ensure strong alignment, consistency, and delivery.
You will lead the Satisfy Tribe who are responsible for Netwealth’s core servicing and operations experience across advisers, clients, and internal teams. It owns the platforms that power workflow and case management (NetFlow), customer communications and distribution (Earth), and custody and registry‑style servicing (Star) providing the essential workflow, custody, and communications backbone that enables day‑to‑day servicing, core operations, and regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do
- Lead and coach multiple scrum teams, fostering clarity, collaboration, and performance
- Improve ways of working, remove delivery friction, and support continuous improvement building a positive, growth‑focused engineering culture
- Uphold strong engineering and design standards, particularly across the Microsoft stack and back‑end systems
- Translate business goals into clear technical plans and delivery roadmaps
- Oversee development practices to ensure quality, security, and reliable deployment
- Partner with technology leaders to maintain alignment and technical excellence
About you
You’re a people‑first leader with a strong engineering foundation.
- Experience leading engineers in multi‑team environments with a genuine passion for coaching and developing high‑performing teams
- Solid software engineering background and understanding of modern delivery practices within complex quality environments.
- Understand regulatory and operational constraints and ensure changes are compliant and auditable.
- Confidence setting and delivering practical technical and delivery roadmaps
- Strong knowledge of agile ways of working within high quality, complex environments.
- Clear, thoughtful communication and stakeholder management skills
