Apply today and help us shape the future of work—together Job Title: Platform Engineer (Automation & Cloud-Native) Experience: 6+ Years Location: Remote-India Job Summary We are looking for a Platform Engineer who is highly programming and automation-centric, with strong expertise in building and managing cloud-native platforms. This role demands hands-on experience in Python development, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes administration, with a focus on automating infrastructure and deployment workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and platform operations • Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks using Python (mandatory) • Manage and administer Kubernetes clusters (deployments, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting) • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux • Automate deployment, monitoring, and recovery processes across environments • Troubleshoot platform issues, including pod failures, scaling issues, and cluster health • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability • Ensure platform security, scalability, and performance Required Skills • Strong programming experience in Python (mandatory) • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes Administration • Deployments, ReplicaSets, Pods • Troubleshooting pod failures (CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled, etc.) • Experience with AWS Cloud Services • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions • Exposure to GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux • Strong understanding of automation, scripting, and system design Preferred Qualifications • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification (preferred) • Experience with containerization tools like Docker • Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) • Knowledge of networking and security in Kubernetes environments Key Competencies • Strong coding and automation mindset • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills • Ability to design scalable and reusable solutions • Strong collaboration and communication skills Nice to Have • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments • Exposure to SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets) • Experience building internal developer platforms Shift Timings: 5PM to 2AM IST 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated resumes to: [Upgrade to PRO to see contact] /[Upgrade to PRO to see contact] New Era Technology, LLC., and its subsidiaries (“New Era” “we”, “us”, or “our”) in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
