About the Role
NextGen Federal Systems is seeking experienced Software Engineers to support Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs. Selected candidates will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to implementation, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- ✓B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field
- ✓Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- ✓Strong software engineering background
- ✓Object-Oriented Programming skills with modern development languages
- ✓Experience with Agile software development practices and tools (Scrum, Jira)
- ✓Knowledge of modern cloud-computing software and tools (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- ✓Experience with micro-services and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ✓Proficiency in modern data architectures and tools (Python, MATLAB, IDL, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, C++)
- ✓Familiarity with frameworks (Angular, Spring Boot, Vue, QT, React)
- ✓Database modeling experience with OpenSearch Dashboards
- ✓Algorithm development, database design, and UI/UX experience
- ✓Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- ✓Test-Driven Development Methodologies (JUnit)
- ✓Experience with web and SOA technologies, visualization technologies, image processing, and GIS technologies
- ✓Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ✓Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
