About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join Smoobu, a fast-growing startup in the vacation rental industry. You will work on building and perfecting APIs, migrating to AWS, and applying engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with business stakeholders to identify requirements and plan milestones
- →Decompose the monolith and build APIs for integration with external partners
- →Migrate the application environment from private cloud to AWS
- →Choose technical and business metrics to monitor features
- →Apply engineering best practices to the team environment
- →Contribute to resolution of technical design issues
Requirements
- ✓Relevant experience in Backend engineering
- ✓Experience in integrating external services and with REST API
- ✓Knowledge of recent PHP & Symfony versions
- ✓Previous experience with relational databases (MySQL)
- ✓Understanding of Decomposing monolithic architectures, Clean Coding, Test-Driven Development, SOLID principles, Docker
- ✓Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
- ✓Fluent knowledge of English
