About the Role
We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join the X-Sight Next Gen team at Actimize, a division of NICE. This role involves developing and testing the next generation advanced cloud platform for building solutions to fight Financial Crime.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign and execute functional/performance test scenarios to assess scalability, responsiveness, and stability
- βDevelop detailed functional/performance test cases covering critical scenarios
- βAutomate performance test cases using tools like JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner
- βIdentify performance bottlenecks through performance profiling and analysis
- βDevelop performance benchmarks and conduct load, stress, and scalability tests
- βAutomate functional/performance tests on both API and UI
- βWork collaboratively with engineers from all disciplines
- βProactively investigate performance issues and highlight them
- βRespond to inquiries around performance and availability
- βContribute to testing strategy, approach, and planning
- βWork closely with PM and Developers to deliver high quality releases
Requirements
- βBE/BTech/MS in CS or equivalent degree
- β8-12 years of hands-on experience in performance engineering
- βExperience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling)
- βDeep understanding of profiling and tuning JVM-based applications
- βHands-on experience with database performance tuning
- βExpertise in analyzing CPU, memory, disk, and network performance
- βStrong understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management
- βExperience with cloud-based performance optimization in AWS and containerized environments
- βExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- βFamiliar with CI/CD and experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker
- βSelf-motivated and fast learner with strong ownership and drive
- βGood interpersonal and communication skills
- βAbility to work independently and collaboratively
