About the Role

We are looking for a talented Automated Test Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Public Safety R&D engineering team in Pune. This role involves leading automation testing initiatives and developing scalable automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• →Lead automation testing initiatives using .NET, Playwright, Selenium, and other industry-standard tools.
• →Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable automation frameworks that improve test efficiency and reliability.
• →Own and implement automation strategies across the team, aligning them with release and quality goals.
• →Drive in-depth DB testing and develop advanced SQL queries for data validation and backend integrity.
• →Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage aligns with functional, non-functional, and risk-based testing needs.
• →Perform risk assessments and drive test coverage planning based on ISTQB or equivalent guidelines.
• →Build and maintain representative test environments and test data pipelines for all types of tests.
• →Identify gaps in regression coverage, update impacted test cases, and optimize execution suites.
• →Take ownership of test execution, maintenance, and automation governance, including CI/CD pipeline integration.
• →Troubleshoot complex defects and proactively guide resolution efforts across dev/test stakeholders.
