About the Role

NielsenIQ Canada is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Sales Development Representative to oversee, nurture, and expand the number of qualified leads and the sales pipeline. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and scheduling initial qualified meetings for the commercial sales team.

Key Responsibilities

→Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via email, social media, and phone outreach
→Serve as a brand ambassador for NIQ Canada and establish the tone for the sales cycle
→Learn continuously and develop into an industry and NielsenIQ solutions expert
→Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify, connect, and engage with decision makers to generate qualified leads
→Create repeatable success frameworks to execute consistently month over month
→Effectively pitch products and solutions to key decision makers
→Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries in a timely manner
→Support marketing sponsored events with pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up
→Meet and exceed key activity and performance metrics
→Maintain accurate CRM records of all lead and prospecting activities
→Build relationships with aligned sales team members to nurture leads

Requirements

✓Post-secondary degree/diploma plus at least 2 years of predominantly outbound sales or complementary experience
✓Professional experience on a customer-focused performance-driven, high-growth, fast-paced sales, service, or marketing team
✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with diverse personalities
✓Fluent (English/French) bilingual language skills required
✓Excellent researching and problem-solving skills
✓Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
✓Exceptional ability to actively listen to and effectively communicate with prospects and customers
✓Team player with a positive attitude and composure under pressure
✓Detail oriented, methodical, and process driven mentality
✓Sound time management and organizational skills
✓Must be a self-starter and highly ambitious to grow knowledge, skills, and career
